The Last Act Release & Soundtrack!

Hello, everyone!

The Last Act has been out for over a month now, and we’re so glad with everyone who's been enjoying our latest visual novel.

One recurring feedback we keep receiving in reviews is that our initial release price of $9.99 is too high, and that people should wait until it’s on sale to buy it. We take all feedback very seriously, and considering the consistency among reviews, we’ve decided to officially lower the price to $4.99.

This decision didn’t come lightly, since we know there are plenty of people who bought it for the original higher price, but we want to show how much we appreciate the feedback and think it’ll be the right decision long-term.

You can find some of our reviews for The Last Act from curators Otome Lovers, Otome Sekai, Far2Close, and other publications including NookGaming and Two Happy Cats.

If you bought The Last Act for full price, thank you so much for your support!

When we made the decision to reduce the price, the team looked for ways to thank you for buying the game at the original price. For people who bought the game through itch.io, you should now have access to the soundtrack in addition to the game. Unfortunately, for people who bought the game through Steam, we weren’t able to find a way to automatically give you anything for your early support. However, if you forward your Steam receipt to [email protected] we’ll see what we can do.

On another note, the same reviews also stated how much they adored our custom soundtrack, so we’re going to make it available for purchase! As of right now it’s available for purchase on itch.io and will be coming soon to Steam for $2.99.

You can listen to the original game soundtrack over on iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, and Spotify.

As always, thank you so much for playing our games and following our developments. We have plans for upcoming releases, including Switch On! Robot Cupid and one under the project name “Piano Story”, which you can read about over on our upcoming projects devlog.
